This is the incredible moment a heroic K9 Mercury found a missing 85-year-old woman who was clinging to a tree on a steep Colorado ravine.
Greenwood Village Police Department Officer Austin Speer and his four-legged partner, Mercury, a German Shorthaired Pointer, went searching through the woods after they received a report from family members about the missing elderly woman.
Video shows Officer Speer holding onto a very long leash following Mercury's lead as the dog guided him through the grassy trail.
The dog was sniffing and traveling at a hurried pace, as the officer spoke to him: 'Good boy buddy. My merky bud.'
When the officer and Mercury located the woman, she had been partially keeled over. The officer said, 'good Duke. Hi Ma'am,' as Mercury was all smiles standing next to her.
